During my public speaking class I viewed a video on a 5th grader who gave a speech in Dallas, Texas. Dalton Sherman who was not your normal 5th. Dalton gave a speech in front of 20,000 teachers and other administrators in his school district. He told the audience several time if they thought that they have believed in him, if they believe in themselves, if they believed in their colleagues. He always stated that nothing was stopping this 10 year old boy form doing what he wants to do. He can do anything, be anything, create anything, dream anything become anything all because the audiences believe in him.
It was very amazing that this 10 year old could give such a great speech. Makes you wonder how great your speaking abilities actually are after seeing such a great public speaker.
